Here we are in Hurricane season 2020, forecasters have predicted a higher than normal activity for the season. It’s important to have a plan in the event there is a need for evacuation. While living on the Jersey Shore is normally peaceful, we are aware that we are prone to the devastation of wind, flooding, and erosion.

Knowing where you are going in the event of an evacuation/emergency and being able to ‘grab and go’ will allow you to focus on preparing your home for upcoming bad weather.

Knowing what and where you can take your pets during an emergency beforehand can make the difference in their well being and yours!

The most important thing to do is make sure your pets are current on vaccinations, licensing and have accurate ID tags in the event of separation.
